Anyone on vacation with us in Berwang wants to be high up - at 1,336 meters. That's the altitude of our tranquil village, home to 600 Berwangers, where you and your family are sure to feel completely at ease during your vacation in the mountains.
The breezy altitude and mild climate here on the sunny side of the Zugspitze create a landscape that enchants guests of all ages with its variety of trees, plants and animals. And right in the middle of it all is the mountain hotel for families - the Kaiserhof. As soon as you stand at the open window in the morning and enjoy the view from the Kaiserhof, you only want one thing: to get out into nature!
After a wonderful breakfast, you will be ready for wonderful hikes, many of which are also suitable for younger vacationers. On the baby carriage trails, you can even travel comfortably with the very youngest in a baby carriage.
Discover our unspoiled landscape with its green alpine meadows and shady forests. Flower lovers will be fascinated by the variety of alpine orchids and if everyone is quiet as a mouse, you might even spot red deer: the largest population in the whole of Tyrol lives here!
Learning during the vacations? Never - your children will protest. But on our adventure hiking trails they will certainly make an exception. Because here they go on an exciting discovery tour or scavenger hunt and learn about the region here in the mountains along the way.
"Mom, I'm hungry!" Fresh air and lots of exercise - that makes you hungry. But one of the 33 mountain huts in our region is always close by. And if your little ones don't feel like hiking? Then simply set off on your own: our childcare team will look after them lovingly until you return from your tour.
