You sense this warmth and friendliness as soon as you arrive, because we want you to spend your precious holidays in the best mood right from the start and for everyone to feel at home straight away.

A little glimpse into our history.

The history of the Kaiserhof hotel began in 1962, when it opened under the name “White Star”. In 1984, the hotel was bought by Heinrich and Waltraud Kuppelhuber and expanded to three times the volume of guests. 1984/85 was then the first season for the new Kaiserhof. Following a change of ownership, the hotel has belonged to the Kuppelhuber family again since 1997. Since then, the hotel has been constantly modernised and its facilities adapted to the needs of families with children.

1998: Swimming complex expanded to 600 square metres
2000: All rooms and floors renovated, swimming complex expanded again
2002: Kaiseralm wellness and spa complex built, Isabel and Alois Kuppelhuber-Angerer took over the hotel
2007: Wellness facilities expanded again, a new building with suites, restaurant and the children’s area built
2008: Lobby renovated
2010: Children’s area expanded by the BABY club with childcare

2016: Joined the Familotel cooperation, wellness area expanded by a paddling pool
2017: New family rooms and suites
2019: New construction of the playground, new family rooms, hotel bar redesigned; new soft play facility
2020: Redesigned lounging area in the water world
2021: 23 new family rooms, new kitchen and buffet area, indoor forest playground for toddlers
2022: Play construction site built on the playground; new honeymoon suite – sun loungers on the lawn
2023: Indoor and outdoor water playgrounds built and a marble run set up
